Day 1: Depart from the UK for Kuala Lumpur

Depart the UK for your direct flight to Kuala Lumpur, arriving the following day.

Day 2: Kuala Lumpur

Arrive into Kuala Lumpur this morning and transfer to your hotel for your 3 night stay at a 4* Centrally located hotel.

Day 3: Kuala Lumpur

Day 4: Kuala Lumpur

At leisure to explore the nations capital further (B)

Day 5: Kuala Lumpur to Kuching

Transfer to Kuala Lumpur International airport for your onward flight to Borneo. Meet and Greet at Kuching International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check In. In the afternoon, start of the city tour of Kuching – Visit the old White Rajah buildings, open markets, temples and mosques. Finally visit the Sarawak Musuem, with its ethnologic and fauna exhibits . After tour transfer back to your hotel.Overnight Kuching.(B)

Day 6: Kuching to Batang

Depart for an overland transfer to Batang Ai. Stop at the Semenggoh Orang Utan conservation center and at Serian city for a traditional open market. Visit a pepper farm, before a short stop at Lachau village. Time at disposal to buy some presents for the Iban and shop for handicraft. Proceed to the Batang Ai jetty. Upon arrival at the jetty, transfer by boat to the resort. Check In and spend the evening at leisure to enjoy the facilities at the resort. Overnight Batang Ai (B,D)

Day 7: Batang

Depart for a visit of Batang Ai Longhouse – an authentic dwelling of the local Iban (who were head hunters in the past) tribe – with a traditional longboat (Perahu Panjai). Explore the longhouse and learn about the lifestyle of these friendly natives. Witness a traditional dance (ngajat), a cockfight and demonstrations on the use of a blowpipe – an ancient hunting weapon of the natives that spew poisonous darts with deadly accuracy. Lunch at the longhouse. Return to the Resort in the early afternoon. Free at leisure in the evening. Overnigh Batang Ai (B,L, D)

Day 8: Batang to Kota Kinbalu

After breakfast transfer to the jetty by boat and overland journey to Kuching. Lunch (not included) en route. Transfer to airport for your flight to Kota kinabalu.
Meet and greet at Kota Kinabalu International Airport and transfer to your hotel. Check inOvernight Kota Kinabalu. (B)

Day 9: Kota Kinabalu

Breakfast at the hotel. After breakfast proceed for a morning market walk around the city where you will have the opportunity to try your bargaining skills.
Depart for , a 2 hours overland to the Southern Part of Sabah - Beaufort. Upon arrival - welcome drink will be served with choices of hot or cold beverages. Enjoy the rural scenery before boarding the boat for a river cruise which will take you through the intricate mangrove system which contributes to the beauty of the Garama River. Proboscis monkeys can be spotted most of the time in the trees feeding on young leaves, shoots or fruits and seeds. You will have the opportunity to observe other wildlife, such as the Macaque monkeys, the rare silver Langur, water buffaloes and a variety of birds such as Pied Hornbills & the Kingfisher. The cruise will last until sunset after which, you may witness a natural show of thousands of fire-flies. At certain times it can seem like there’s a lot of lit up Chrismas trees! Return to lodge for a dinner and thereafter return overland to hotel.Overnight Kota Kinabalu (B,D)

Day 10: Kota Kinabalu to Kinabalu Park

After breakfast proceed for Kinabalu Park - Sabah’s most popular National Park, and gazzetted as a World Heritage Site in 2000, covers 754 sq km and is the home of the tallest mountain in South East Asia, acclaimed to have 2/3 of the world’s floras and some are endemic to Sabah. Enjoy hiking in one of the trails and look out for few species of plants along with the view the majestic Mount Kinabalu – towering 4,095.2 metres above lush tropical jungles. Later, have lunch in a local restaurant before returning to your hotel in the afternoon.Overnight Kota Kinabalu (B,L)

Day 11: Kota Kinabalu to UK

Depart Kota Kinabalu for your indirect flight back to the UK.
